In these current times of instability and uncertainty, businesses all around the globe are readjusting and learning how to operate in this “new normal.” At ETech 7 we’ve been implementing new policies and pivoting to offer support to our employees and partners.
In response to COVID-19 and the recent market downturn, we’ve implemented strict company policies based on CDC guidelines for office buildings.
We’ve adapted to the new normal by ensuring that our employees are observing social distancing, wearing face masks at all times, and making hand sanitizers easily-accessible for both our clients and our staff.
Now that the weather is nice and warm, we also try to open windows and doors to increase the circulation of outside air as much as possible — as suggested by the CDC. In terms of employee shifts, we've adapted to a highly-flexible and agile work schedule that enables some employees to remain working from home and some employees to be available on-call for on-site projects.
As a small business, ETech 7 has also been gravely affected by the recent economic downturn. However, we are proud to say that we have had no layoffs. Our current model allows us to keep our manpower as lean as possible while providing the same quality service to our clients.
We will continue to watch for any new CDC guidelines so we can follow safe practices. Our team members’ health and well-being are our top priority. It’s important that we all come together to provide a support system during this difficult time.
At this time, there are many things out of our control, and we’ve done everything in our power to take care of things that are in our control. One of those things has been increasing our online presence.
